Jewelers in Clarksville, Tennessee, was founded in 1922, by C. G. Sites,
watchmaker and hand engraver. John Sites grew the store into two locations
in 1986 with a branch in a regional shopping center. Sites jewelers is
now in its third generation of ownership and is the oldest jewelry store
in Clarksville serving northern middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.
Clarksville is the fifth largest city in Tennessee and is located 40 miles
north of Nashville and along with Hopkinsville, Kentucky (15 miles north)
is the home of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and the 101st Airborne Division
(Air Assault). A very large and growing industrial park with several national
companies, a stable agricultural environment, and numerous outdoor recreational
opportunities contribute to rapid population growth in the city.
Sites Jewelers has a long history of quality merchandise and customer service and is starting its 75th year in a brand new 6,000 square foot, free standing store. This modern, state of the art, jewelry store merged the two locations and offers a complete gemological laboratory, staffed with two certified gemologists of the American Gem Society, two registered jewelers and is also an Accredited Gemological Laboratory through the American Gem Society. The store features three jeweler/goldsmiths and has a separate computer design studio for custom designs and emblematic jewelry. The store offers all types of diamond and colored stone jewelry, a wide assortment of 10 kt. 9 14 kt. , and 18 kt. gold, and cultured pearls.
